Settling Down in Chiang Mai.

Today was the first morning in our apartment at Smith Suites. I got up before Paula, got ready and headed out to a great breakfast at the Baan Homemade Bakery. It is about 5 minutes walk from our building, and it is an amazing little bakery.

After breakfast, I walked on to the new, unfinished location of the Punspace coworking space, which is about 10 minutes farther. I had some great coffee there, and got some work done. I chatted with the owner, Pique, about the changes since my last visit, and his plans to open. It will be a great place to work and hang out, starting next week.

Later today, I also noticed that the new Punspace location will be the site of Startup Weekend Chiang Mai, which Paula and I plan to participate in.

In the gallery for this post, the picture with a high angle is the view from our studio, and the other two pictures are of wats that are on the way to Punspace from our building. It’s cool to live in the midst of this culture and history.
